What a Fulshear mosquito visit covers
Every visit works three angles at once, because treating only the adults leaves the next generation behind.
- Adult control. Fogging bushes, trees, and the shaded areas where mosquitoes rest during the day.
- Larval control. Treating standing water where mosquitoes lay larvae.
- Source reduction. Placing stations, or replenishing the water and re-baiting the ones already out, set into the bushes and nesting areas.
Fulshear is irrigation-heavy. Master-planned landscaping, shaded vegetation, gutters, and drains all hold water long enough for a mosquito to finish a life cycle.
That is why the standing-water side of the visit matters as much as the fogging.
The stations target a specific mosquito, not just any mosquito
Rhino places In2Care stations. They are built for container-breeding mosquitoes, which are the ones that thrive around houses rather than out in open marsh.
Two species in particular. Aedes aegypti, which spreads Zika and other viruses. And Aedes albopictus, another species common across the Fulshear service area.
Most mosquito pages will not tell you which species they are treating for. The species determines where the breeding habitat is, and the habitat determines where the stations go.
Kids, pets, and pollinators
Re-entry is once the product has dried. Exterior drying depends on how much sun the area gets, and interior areas can take longer.
For pollinators, Rhino does not treat on or near flowering plants. That holds especially for products that are highly toxic to bees.

The bigger change lands after about a week, once the population has been flushed out and died off.
